Just bought my first quality knife, as the title indicates, a rift. Was messing around with it some before work. I've been opening it by initiating the axis lock by pulling it back with my thumb and flicking the knife open. Maybe every one in 10 times I do this(average), the axis lock will not pull back to let knife close without considerable force. I've read somewhere along my research that the axis lock sometimes takes a break in period but never read anything about this particular problem. Anyone have any experience with this happening to them?

Axis Lock (Rift) Problem?

I've never had this problem on any of my BM's, and I've owned several. I'd guess it's just the lock bar sticking on the surface on the blade that it butts up against, or sticking the in channel the lock bar rides in. Either way, it'll probably break in with use. Maybe someone will be along soon with more experience with this issue.
