opinions on which lock is stronger..axis or pinnacle ?

I have a Pinnacle, but not an axis, so I'm not qualified to say, however people seem to like the axis , and have suggested it may be a nice next purchase, from my previous post.

My guess is that either one could take a lot more force than the human grip, but I am inclined to think that the Pinnacle's integral lock would be able to withstand the most closing force before being destroyed.

Chaz,

Lock stregnth should really not be of concern with these locks as they are both plenty strong. Both are very good locks, choose what you like.

I'd have to agree that with these two knives it's really not an issue. Both are very stout locks. If push comes to shove I'd vote for the Axis though - no proof, jus a gut feeling.
