I just bought my first quality knife, a BM-710BT partly from the raves about the axis lock from many people on this board. Thanks for the reviews. I have a couple questions, though. I can snap the blade open with just a strong flick of my wrist. Will this wear down the knife? It seems like the solidity of the axis lock would allow me to snap it open without much of a problem but I'm just curious if this could cause blade wobble, etc. Also, can G10 shatter if dropped? Maybe this is a stupid question but I read somewhere that there is glass in it. Thanks for the help.
