Axix Lock Evolution?

Quick question, has the Axis lock evolved since the first 710? Has Benchmade changed it in anyway since first produced?
 
Yup. At the very least the spring strength has been increased and some newer models feature a offset in the Axis bar channel (angle upward) relative to the edge.
