Came in today! And a little birdie told me that the Cutlery Shoppe has more coming.

This is a NICE knife. The fit and finish are superb, as seems to be the case for everything made over in Taiwan. Blade is centered and has zero play. Action is smoooooth.

And, the "carraca" sound is actually more subtle than I expected. I anticipated a much louder sound. Rather it sounds like the ratchet of a high-end, precision socket wrench. That's my best attempt at describing it. If I had only one "complaint," it would be for the carraca to be louder. If it's going to make a noise, I want some NOISE. :D

The blade is on the thick side, which I like. This is a chunky knife. The CF is a twill, similar to the Sage 1. But, it's a bit smoother than the Sage 1 CF. I like it a lot.

The lock is a bit awkward and very similar to the Gayle Bradley. The bolsters are very nice with a slightly "brushed" surface. But, overall... this knife is SAWEET! Almost too nice to carry. But, I will, of course!

Without furter ado... some pics:

Lucky me.... it came on the same day as my Tan / M4 Manix 2!

Compared to today's carry, CF Kopa:

The CF / bolster interface - looks good close-up!

That's it for now! The Navaja may become my new favorite... or at least a top 3. Get one! May be one of the nicest Spydies ever made, IMHO.

Congrats and thank you for pictures and first impression. Will be waiting for updates.

Very nice, thanks for the review. I just love the grind on the Navaja blade. Hopefully, UPS willing, mine will show up tomorrow.

Carrying mine today, it came in last night. I am beyond happy but completely agree with the sound. The paper says it's likened to the chambering of a round, but falls a bit short of that. The fit and finish is fantastic and came screaming sharp. One of my new favorite spydies
