Aztec sword maquahuitl that I got in Mexico

A few years ago I picked up this "sword" in Mexico while I was there on vacation. I really love it and it is a beast. The obsidian on it isn't particularly as sharp as they should be but all I wanted was a decent replica. The whole thing is about 3.5 feet long and it weighs about 3.5 pounds. I picked it up for about 80 dollars which in retrospect seems pretty pricy.

I think these things are kind of neat. The only one I have ever seen substituted the obsidian for sharpened pieces of steel. Looked awful nasty. lol

Yeah Ive seen similar ones made by people here but they were very expensive. A quick google search found this website: http://www.obsidiandesigns.com/spknives.html Good prices too. The website also has some cool paleolithic weapon replicas.
