Any opinions on the upcoming Böker Backcountry?

I'm not into hunting in the backcountry at all but this looks like an interesting small(-ish) and light EDC to me (19cm, 58g).

Pretty compelling and competitive with other ultralight fixed blades in that class. 2oz for 3.43" of Magnacut blade is not bad at all considering you get G10 scales rather than cord wrap. Says it comes with a kydex sheath, I'd be curious to see what that looks like. Glad to see it made in the USA and still come in at a fair price. I'd say it's a step in the right direction for Boker and I'd be happy to see them expand their Denver manufacturing.

Overall if I was in the market it would definitely be in my considerations compared to offerings from companies like Argali, MKC, Goat Knives, etc.

Very impressed with this model. I believe that an EDC sheath might be in the future. Like that option vs the kydex.

Received mine earlier this week. Thin, light and just the right jimping/texture. Think it will be perfect for field use during hunting season. Well done Böker!!

EDC version would be great please.
