Came across this one. Should a stockman knife have multiple blades? This looks like a nice single blade slipjoint anyvay. Opinions?

Seems to me like a misnomer gone full circle. I'd call this a serpentine jack.

I quess somewhere here is a quide that contains the most usual pocket knife patterns?

I have one of those with 3 blades. It has a stainless main blade, and carbon sheepsfoot, spey and springs, which would lead me to think Boker can be a bit unusual occasionally. I have seen stockman knives with 2, 3, 5 and 6 blades, but don't think single blades count.

I like it. Reminds me of Buck Solitaire. Stockman has to be some kind of deutschisch misnomer. Can it be a jack if it has one blade? Boker site says its 440C. How is their 440C?

Hmm 440c my Stockman is carbon steel I have never seen the OPs model before but if it was carbon I might even want one. Have a Boker Congress in stainless seems to hold an edge pretty well.

Beautiful knife, one I'd be happy to own based on my experience with Boker's traditional pocketknives. I wouldn't call it a "stockman" though. ;)
