hi ya'll,
well i made it to blade this year and what a show, detail's later on that. about three hour's into my eleven hour trip home i got a call from mother nature. so i pull over and start to head to the wood's. all of a sudden i think why not take a b-11 to see how it cut's. i had already cut up a bunch of stuff in the hotel room the night before (i'll save that story for later). after i heed the call of te wild i start looking for thing's to cut. now remember i'm on the side of the road in tennessee. so i find a few 1" 1 1/2" monkey vine's to start out with. i swing at the first vine and danm near cut the side of my leg. it went through so fast i almost cut right into my left thigh. THS THING IS FAST IN THE HAND!! after checking for cut's i start in on a 4" maple tree. the bite's that it take's are amazing! i can't wait to see what it does when i really sharpen it. after the treee was down i started on the 3' foor trunk that was left. i splt it down the center the batonned the rest of the way. my camera died part way through the battoning. but i did get some shot's of it flexing. all in all i found my new chopper for beating around. first thing you need to do is put a lanyard on it to keep it in your hand's! i only have two complaint's about the knife. the first being that i didn't see any A-grind green one's and two, the handle is just a little bit to small. i'm going to wrap it in 550 cord to see how it feel's. i will have pic's up in a little bit. i really might retire my fbm and ever other chopper i have. this knife is a home run for busse!
