Do any of you guys have a pic of the B&C Guide and Personal together? I want to see the size difference.

I waited a couple of days hoping that someone had the exact knives you're asking about. I don't have the B&C models, but here's a comparison photo of a standard Guide (mod. 121) on top and a standard Personal (mod. 118) below. The sizes should be the same as the B&C versions.

Deleted photos due to mistake . See posts 10 and 12.

Plumber thank you Sir for the pic, the top knife looks like a 105 Pathfinder but they are all so close it is hard to tell. The picture shows what I was looking for the handle length. I was hoping the handle would be a little longer for the Guide but I guess not.

Trust me, it is a 121 Guide, not a 105.

The handles on both the 121 and the 118 are the same size, only the blade is different.

1/2 inch of blade length and from what I can tell the 105's have a false top edge of about a half inch. 121 is 5.5 inch blade and 105 is listed as a 5 inch blade.

Guy's, I've made a major and embarrasing mistake. The 121 in my pictures IS actually a 105. My only excuse is that the first one I used for the comparison was in a 121 sheath and in a 121 box. I didn't bother to get my reading glasses on and check the tang stamp.

I'm really sorry and I'll do better. I just have to locate a nice 121 to take another picture of.

It's OK and I knew it all along, mistakes happen and you are still my Hero Plumber.

Thank you Rick, and if you ever see where I've messed up again, DO NOT hesitate to point it out to me. I seems that I also lied about not having the B&C versions, at least about the Guide. I just ran across one that I'd forgotten all about. Here it is with the personal.

Plumb,

I am giving a seminar on record keeping in Idaho....but remember, I did a article on it for BCCI newsletter. This is a good example and in fact I may use it in my seminar (names will be deleted) of why keeping records is a good thing. You could have went to your record and found your BC 121 and while making a record of your 105 in the wrong box you would have corrected that mistake.

So again I suggest; ten knives or ten hundred making a nice record sheet for each Buck is worth the time.....

300

All I know is I wish I was like Plumber and had more Bucks than I could keep up with.

This request looks to have been answered but since I already took the picture...here ya go.
More pics posted over at the Sunday Picture Show.
