I just thought that I'd share a little something with all of you....
I LOVE MY WIFE!!!!!!!
Now you may be saying to yourself right about now,"Why is this dips**t sharing this with us and why here on the Spydie forum?"
Well, I'll tell you why........
It's my 35th b-day today and my wife gave me a Spyderco Commemorative Worker as a gift!!!!
Yes sirree, one of those sweet limited edition last run Workers!!!!
Actually, to be completely honest here, I didn't even know that this limited edition run was even produced. I was totally surprised to open the box and find a knife that not only had I not even mentioned to her but that I didn't even myself know existed??
Can you believe this?? I was simply floored!!!!! *Note - That's a good thing!!
I jumped right on the forums (here and over at Sal's place) and did some quick searches. The only thing that I can't quite pin down is the date that these babies were 1st released for sale. I'm guessing maybe 12/01?? Maybe someone out there has this programmed into their memory banks??
Anyway, this is one sweeeeeet knife!!
I just keep thinking that it's a damn shame that it's numbered. It kinda' makes you want to put it away and keep it all nice and pretty. The problem is that it's also calling out for a try at EDC. I truly hate these constant internal conflicts we all must endure!!
Oh yeah, I almost forgot, it's #0915 of 1200. I know it's not the lowest number but hey, you know what they say, "Better late than never." Right??
I gotta' tell you guys, this is why it's soooooo important to make sure that your mate is also your best friend.....That way they know just what to get you on them holidays!! 'Ya Hear me???
At least I know one thing for sure, that not only does my wife have great taste in men, she's not too bad with them knives either!!
