Well, I had a customer want a knife based around the WSK design. Here is my take on the knife....not perfect but will be just a more simple take on the knife.
No Saw Teeth so you will be able to use the back of the spine and the handle with 2 hands if needed. No hook to get in the way of chopping, Full height flat grind so its not such a steep wedge that limits the cutting depth.

Anyway....thats my take on the design and the customer wanted to incorporate the butt of the Camp Digger design I make. All in all I like it so far.
Its larger than the Becks WSK I think....I'll have to pull mine out and compare. Its ground from just a hair shy of 1/4" thick 0-1 and will have a big ol' temperline hammon on it :)

Thanks for looking

I don't know about WSK, but it looks awesome! Can't wait to see the finished product!

That just gets me all excited :) when I see a knife like that

Mr. Goode you added another beauty to an already extremely good year here on BF

I'd like to see the finished results, love the blade and the handle shape looks sweet ;)

I'm also working on this one - 2 Trailsman, a Companion, and a Stinger pattern....but I'll get to it:D Glad to see some enthusiasm;)

That's coming a long nicely! It is a very interesting play on the WSK deign. I like it alot and even more when you put some scales on it:D.

not exactly sure...havent remeasured again but its a 7" cutting edge and about 13 1/2" overall I think. I had to rebuy 2 1/2" wide stock for the next one I am making.
