Ladies & Gents,

With all the divisiveness and political turmoil recently . . . I did what any respectable HOG/Piglet would do . . . I unsheathed my knife and decided to Grab It By The . . . ;) juuuust kidding.

I decided to give my favorite 9 inch knife the long overdue edge/shoulder work it deserved. Now in the spirit of inclusiveness --- please feel free to post any pics of your NMFSH that you feel deserves the light of day. Here's mine --- I look forward to seeing yours :)

WOW, just WOW, that look so nice. From the looks I could only imagine that it cuts like a laser. It just look seriously sharp. Taking sharp to the next level. Along with that I would think the mirror finish would cut cleaner too. You would not even know your cut until the blood flies.

She is in the 95 percentile and is as big as a male. She is a trained police dog. A local police officer has a male dog as he is K9 unit. She towers over his dog lol. Bad thing is she does not realize her size and wants to get in my lap. I am working on a stool in my workshop on a couple of bush blades. She is constantly trying to edge her way up onto the table somehow and then onto my lap lol. Its comical actually.

Excellent job Rob, but I think you need to challenge yourself a bit more. In the spirit of helping you to better yourself, I'm going to send you a MOAB to work on.

Heres Mine, doesnt have a mirror edge, but still shaving sharp. it started out as BIG finish, but previous owner sent it out, (i gorgot to who) made it satin, all but Ricaso, and put a Razor sharp edge on it. 1 of my favorite blades

Thanks guys!! I really appreciate the kind words. What can I say --- I'm obsessed with the Steel Heart series!! Thanks Jerry!!

For those wondering --- the edge was sharpened to 19 degrees (38 degrees inclusive). The following Grit Progression was used:

Diamond Stones: 100, 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000
Ceramic Stones: 1200, 1600, 1.4 micron, .6 micron
Balsa Wood Strops: 5 micron, 3.5 micron, 1 micron, .5 micron
