Well folks,
We had one jump ship this week. After spending a portion of my weekend looking though all the shipping info i have. it appears that this one stowed away & sailed off to someone in error. As much as i'd like to say if you received this knife you were the "winner winner chicken dinner" the person that bought it would like it very much.
So if anyone happens to see it in their package please let me know.

feel free to Pm me here or email me at phillip@fiddlebackforge.com

Thank you!

In my short time here in the Fiddleback forum, I have noticed that it seems that pretty much all the guys that hang out here and / or shark, are honest reliable individuals. I would be willing to bet that whoever the knife was sent to, will do the right thing and return it. Good karma and such.

thats what im thinking & hoping for as well

That's a gorgeous piece. How often do y'all do a bog oak handle. That's the first I've seen. I would love an 1/8 tapered o1 ladyfinger in this handle scheme. That's one sexy knife, I hope it finds its way home safe.

Thanks TT
We dont do it very often because of the additional cost

Maybe you should rethink using it more... I know I wouldn't mind paying a premium for that gorgeous stuff. In fact, if you make me a patch with bog wood I'd probably sign all my earthly possessions over to you... :p:D

Hey Phillip, it probably wouldn't be hard to figure out who it was sent to based on the postage. The PO receipt should show which who you sent heavier boxes to based on higher postage fees. Then look back and see if they ordered multiple knives. If they only bought one knife and the box weight on the receipt was double, then you know who inadvertently received it. I hear tell that ancient bog oak can cast a pox on the house of one who aquires it dishonestly....very very bad ancient juju. Hopefully, they be forthcoming with you and return it before the curse of the bog overtakes them!

If memory serves, most if not all of my Friday purchases have come in flat rate boxes so the fees may not be all that telling. But I agree that the recorded weights, which are normally documented on receipts regardless of the flat rate packaging, might be one way to make a good guess.

Thanks TT

I think all of the knives produced by fbf are gorgeous but one just has not called my name. When I seen that ladyfinger it grabbed me by the beard and slapped me a few times. It really jumped out at me. You guys do fantastic work. I can't wait to grab my first fb.

That bog oak is beautiful. It looks great on a ladyfinger. When did this one come up for sale? I don't recall seeing it.

Nice score, hopefully it turns up

Yeah man, I was really disappointed when I opened up the postal box last Friday and it only had the CS Bushfinger I had sharked. This Bog Oak Lady Finger was a grail knife for me. Phillip gave me a refund on Monday when he realized it was no where to be found. Honestly, I would have been a lot happier if they would have offered to make me another one.

GOOD NEWS!!!!!

I received my package from FB today and it seemed a bit heavy for a BLJ. After opening I found two knives in there, I opened the knife just to make sure it was the missing ladyfinger. IT WAS!!! :):)

It's packed up again and ready to be mailed to the owner. Phillip, please let me know the details and I will send it and send the tracking Info. I might not be able to send until Monday but will try me best to get it out tomorrow.

Nice one Gus, I envy you :)
