So I got a bk16 headed my way:D And I was wondering, are all of them FFG now? I reallyyyt dig the saber grind bk16s, so is there any chance it is a saber grind? I mean, im fine with FFG believe me:D But Saber would be magicalll
 
Where did you order it from?? I ordered mine from dale at the knife connection and got a sabre grind when I was expecting a FFG. I believe there are some sabre grinds still floating around as new in stock.
 
Giz is correct. Unfortunately, even KA_BAR doesnt know which are which once they are boxed, and they arent marked in anyway on the box.
 
Chances are slim on the sabre. Hope springs eternal though. Either way, you'll have a great knife. Congrats.
 
Maybe I should just keep ordering a new one until a sabre shows up :D
 
I can confirm that Dale at KC had some sabre grinds as late as last week. Someone on the forums posted that they got it...may have been you Gizler...and I called Dale. He had already gone through the boxes (reacting to someone who wanted the FFG...maybe Gizler again?) and found 3 sabre in the bunch. I ordered one and it arrived the other day. I now have one of each. He may have some more, call him and when you order put it in the comments that you want one.
 
Don't think he has any left.

He said he had one left at 8:30am yesterday morning, and I ordered it!!

Man I've waited a long time for one of these.

It was me. I ordered my 16 two weeks ago expecting the FFG and got the sabre. I called dale to clarify the order and he informed me that he had a few sabre grinds left in stock. But looks like they might be gone by now. I'm not sure if I'm going to safe queen mine or start beating the hell out of it.
 
Haha, oh ill beat it either way! And I ordered from Amazon on this one any chance it could be saber?:D
 
It seems like they are actually making a new batch of sabre ground knives or something. I've seen numerous people posting here about getting sabres from Amazon as well.

Not sure what's up. I'd love to get a sabre grind, but prolly won't buy another 16 just for 'chances'. I might see if Dale has one though. I do love my FFG a lot.
 
Mostly looks, but I prefer the angle better as far as batoning and whatever. I just Loveee the looks of the sabre. And yeah, I have seen alot too. It comes in tomorrow, so we will see!:D
