BA-E uses

Since my newest most favorite knife is the BA-E I want to find out some data on it.

What is the purpose it was designed for? Some knives are choppers, some skinner, etc...

This feels like it could be a knife that would cover all bases. Like the SJT... Good at everything but Master of none. I can see skinning, prying, chopping, drilling, hammering, etc... with this knife. Not the best for any one job but covers a lot. Fairly compact. And for me this would definately make a good offensive/defensive knife when I run out of bullets.

I really like my grovemaster for a general tasks.

It's more of a little big knife. Because of the thickness and shape of the handle it can handle some light chopping. You'll be amazed at what it can do. So, yes, it can do a little of everything.
