My BA III was waiting on me when I came home tonight. I haven't been able to use her yet, but she looks and feels excellent. Saturday we'll see how she works......

Congrats on the BAg3's. I envy you guys, I haven't got any knives in almost a week ;):D:D

Looking forward to hearing how they work out.
 
Got mine today :D . Thanks to all who recommended it. I really like the snakeskin handles. The knife seems excellent, but I don't care for the sheath's snap system. Doesn't seem very secure. I saw a thread showing how someone had modified their's. I'll be doing a search for it.

Yeah, mine has the SS, and it looks/feels awesome. I agree with the assessment of JohnS on the sheath & closure system. Of course, this BA III has been scheduled to "meet" Kenny Rowe so, the sheath is not a problem :D
 
I was a little leary of the sheath myself. Being left handed, I found that and extra knot in the end of the paracord allowed me to wrap around the knife just once and was very secure when snapped. Experiment a little and see what you get.
 
That knife woudl be waaay coool in a Kenny Rowe canted high-ride.
 
Yes - thats the one. I wonder why they didn't just put one of their regular type snaps on it. It is nice to be able to take the sheath off with the velcro, but the cord bit is a pain.
