Looks like the Typical Texas “banana spider” or Golden silk orb-weaver. They weave the same pattern in their web here

Poor spiders, those ones are harmless and they kill annoying insects like flies, moths and mosquitoes. And everyone still wants to kill them.

Spiders got to eat too. I used to feed them big black ants when I was 8…that being said if you have young kids or guests, don’t let them on your porch without showing them this video.
