I'm buying another EDC and thinking about Ken's Baby Boa. I know it's assisted opening, but does it have a safety mechanism (like the scallion, mini-mojo, etc.)? Can't seem to find any info on that. I understand that accidental opening is highly unlikely, but I'm a front-pocket carrier and would like to minimize risk around the groinal area. Thanks!

ralphus, the Baby Boa does in fact have a safety to keep it locked in the closed position. It is located up higher on the back scale, unlike the Chive, Scallion, and Leek. The location safety change allows for easier access by the user.
FYI, there are a few different variations of the Baby Boa other than the cataloged red/black smoked scale color. If you do some searching around, you should be able to find some other Baby Boa flavors, if that is of interest. Hope that helps.
