If you could only get one, which would you get?

I used the BG pics and specs but figure Infi or SR101, if you can only get one, then which do you get?

I passed on the WTHBG, just never was moved to order one. I think the BBBG looks really cool, but I'm not sure I'll order one either. I think it'd be more useful, maybe.

Different people like different designs, That Little Baby Boom could prove very useful, but for me the WTH hands down!!

I'm torn. The WTH has much better slicing geometry with the taller grind and same thickness. But the upward-canted handle on the BB should give more room for your hand. I ordered a WTH, and am debating the BB. I may just go for it and see which I like better once I have them in-hand. Really tough call.

This is exactly where I'm at.

I tried telling the wife a baby boom would be a kitchen knife that would never need replacing. I said it would be a great gift for you to buy me and ill do all the cooking!

BB all the way. The design is more a traditional nessmuck. With a nice warncliff influence. It just seem's more of something I would carry and use.

Yes, my thoughts exactly. I even posted my paper BB cutout with my HOG Muk earlier today.

Well, got 'em both... :o Will make for an interesting couple of sets; I ordered canvas on the bigger blades (WTF and Parang), and got matching G10 on the smaller companion ones (WTH and BB). Can't wait to see them all together!!! :D

I love the wharncliffe blade of the BB. I will jump on it if it is 5.5-6". It will make a good Chinese cleaver kitchen knife

BB blade angle and handle look more practical IMO. WTH handle with that blade shape just doesn't look right for me.

WTH. While I don't think either knife will really do any cutting task well, I see more possibilities of decent applications with the WTH. Seems most people are saying the BB would be used in the kitchen, but I have a couple custom kitchen knives that will run circles around a .16" blade on a cutting board.

For the in of it, sure why not? But I think it's a lot to spend for a poor performing kitchen knife. The WTH would at least be an ok utility/camp knife.
