baby butterbean size vs peanut

After reading a few other threads about an every day gents carry, I am contemplating a damascus case option. Does anyone have pics of a peanut compared to a baby butterbean for size comparison. Peanuts seem a tad small in my paws, but still very usable; however, I do like the shape of a baby butterbean/mini canoe a bit better overall. Any pics in or out of hand are appreciated.

I subjectively prefer the look and feel of the Baby Butterbean. The Peanut is a classic and gets a lot of love around here, and with good reasons. The butterbean gives me just a little more surface area to hold on to. I also like the way it looks when closed, and the shape of the main blade.

You can make it through the day just fine with either of them, and in terms of size and weight you won't notice any difference when they are in your pocket. I think it just comes down to what you find most appealing.

Either one will get you through the day, but I like the fine point of the peanut. Pierces and opens packages a wee bit better, and I love the looks of the serpentine handle with the slim pointy clip blade. In small pocket knife, I like a fine point.

I agree. I tend to use pen and spear blades for most things but when I needed to cut a radiator hose for my truck the other day I couldn't cut it with those. The clip blade went through like a dream though.

I also agree. I've been carrying the same peanut for a over a month. I do like the BBB though. Is it weird that I like the way it looks but greatly dislike Canoes?
