I wanted to show a couple of baby canoe or baby butter bean folders to some. These are some perfect sized folders and I liked the one I got for myself so much I bought another for my wife in purple (blackberry dyed) armadillo leather scales. I posted this with a leather prefix because few that I have met work with tortoise shell, gar or armadillo like Jerry Barlow has done.

Both these baby canoes of mine are 0-1 blade steels with blades and blade lengths specifically requested by me when I ordered them. These are kind of walking both sides of the street of the canoe and the whittler that way and I like having the wharny blades as second blades on them. I said in the video which I have posted with a couple others in my account showing Jerry's work there on youtube that the knives shown here were 2.75" closed. They are actually about 2 and 5/8" though once I got a good look. Thanks and I hope the video shows them well enough for you.

Great looking knives, and a perfect blade combo, I've been looking for something like this. In my head I was thinking a 3" peanut with spear master, and wharncliffe secondary, but I do like the blades on opposite ends, as I like to carry a moose. Very nice knives.

That purple armadillo really looks different. Nice canoes especially with that particular blade combo. His version of the butterbean is beautiful too. Great buy.

Thanks guys.

Well, give Jerry a call. I can pass on his number to ya. He gave me permission to give it out but I don't want to do it public. I tell ya the money he asks for this model is more than fair and I bet he'd even do it in D2 for ya for that or a tiny bit more perhaps if you wanted it. He has that steel now after filling some of my orders for both a 308 and Seahorse split back whittler in it! If you like these blades though be sure to mention wanting the Wharncliffe or he'll do the standard pen blade as the default second blade in this model. These are just the first two baby canoes he has done but I know he started two more after seeing how well they came out however they do not have Wharny blades as I recall.

Those look real sweet, Steve.
Congrats on those, for sure!
