Hey folks, I have a BFF on the way and I am curious what others have thought of theirs. Can't seem to find any reviews of that model on the 'net. I have a 15" AK buy Bura and a Tin Chirra 18" but was looking for something different and unique. Anyway if you have any experience with this Blade please let me know!

Not a lot of first hand experience on these. They have only been introduced in the last several weeks. Never seen them before so unless I missed something it's a brand new style.

You get to be one of the test guinea pigs for the rest of us. It looks mighty fine in the pictures and I'm sure it's gonna be a right handy little knife.

And did I mention cute!

Really? I didn't realize that they were so new....... Cool! Plan on a review in the future 😁

Hey there,

I picked up a baby FF a couple weeks ago and I love it. The shape and fullers were perfect. The handle is smaller than your average HI knife as befits it's smaller size. The smaller handle still fits my hand well and allows for finer control IMHO. The speed at which the Sharks on the forum snap these up should be some indication of what we think of them. Enjoy!

Let us know what think. I'm interested in them. Looks like a fine edc to go with my baby AK.

Hi RockFarm... Congrats!!! at first I was also aiming for the BFF but I want to try the Horn handle first...I want to know if Horn is better than wood ..shrinkage wise.
I got the 9 inch 5 ounce Pacthar Knife by Lachhu, anybody have experience about this Khukri.... very cute. please let me know.
I just measure my spyderco resilience and look like my spyder was quite longer by 1/4"...huh your right, a possible EDC LOL!
Thanks.

The BFF is a great little knife. I got one with a Neem wood handle made by Purna. I need to make a kydex sheath for mine and tune the edge to my likings, but then it will be jockeying for EDC.

The sheath mine came with is great, no karda or chakmak obviously, but whats cool is that the knife sits kinda far off the hip still. This sounds bad, but actually it made it so I could keep the knife on the outside of all my puffy winter layers, just like my full sized khuks. Plus it has just enough retention to hold the blade, but is loose enough that I don't struggle to draw it. Darn near perfect if you ask me.

The fullers are gorgeous, the curve is awesome, and it feels great in hand. What I will say is that the blade does have some heavy curve, and some EDC tasks aren't quite as easy to do. It's better to choke up on the knife when doing stuff like opening boxes. Overall, my IBBB is better suited for EDC, but the BFF is at least twice as cool, and everyone knows looks count most.

I posted a mini review when ndog was asking about blade length one time, trying to see if it was EDCable in TX. We decided it should be perfectly legal.

Here's pix galore, as is my style :)

Comparing marks, these are both by Purna

Baby Foxy spine vs full sized Foxy spine

And one more for scale

I'm sure you'll love it! These things are just too cool. A 12" Medium FF made my list immediately after I held this one. Can't go wrong with a Foxy in any size methinks.

What ^^SG said - Kydex Sheath+Reprofiled edge will make this a great EDC.
