Well with the bad news I had recently, I decided to only buy one khukuri for my birthday (I turned 37 on 8/16). Since the 30" Sirupati was more expensive I ordered a Bilton.
When I opened the box I thought it was a baby khukuri, or maybe a khukuri seed. It does look a lot like my BAS. The sword of Shiva is simpler and there is no but plate but the bolster is brass and the handle is horn. In fact the horn is VERY well carved and there's not a bit of rouge left on it. The blade is extremely well shaped and has some distal taper. The edge not very sharp. There are a few small rust spots but nothing that bothers me.
The scabbard is a little tight in the throat and the leather is not as good as that on the other scabbards. I'll certainly replace it.
This is a sweet little knife and I'm going to have a lot of fun with it. I'll certainly put a convex edge on it.
