Wife just had a baby on April 30th and I had some pictures developed today. Presenting Robert Andrew, future knife accumulator and all-around good guy:

He's a good-looking kid, so DNA paternity testing is in order. :o

Best Wishes,

More like Dad, You did buy me a birthday Sebbie didn't you? Congratulations

I think a Sebbie is in his future, but for now, an Umfaan ("little boy") would be more appropriate.

I think that first pic is more like, "Hey! What's going on around here? Who are all you people? And why is everybody tickling me?"

Congratulations to you and your wife, Bob. Never mind the paternity testing, he's got knife knut written all over him -- ya did good!

Hey, congratulations!

I think that he is saying, a car would be nice, but for Raton Pass in the winter a monster truck would be more appropriate.
:D

Thanks for the comments everyone. Yes, he's the first, and probably only. After all, I'm 37. Don't want to be a Senior Citizen trying to put kids through college...

He'll be getting a knife or two soon, but they'll be put away for safekeeping until he's older. A Sebenza? I was thinking more along the lines of an Old Timer and one of the youth Scandanavian knives from Ragnar's Forge.

It's a bit early for him to pick out a car, but I hope he likes convertibles and motorcycles like his Old Man. :)

Thanks again for the warm comments.

Congratulations, Bob! We just had our little girl in Jan., first one for us and we are both pushing 40. I'm sure you have heard it before but I'll say it again, say goodbye to a good nights sleep!

so, stjames, what kind of knife are you going to get your little girl for her first? I have been considering this for our twin girls for awhile now......

We were in our mid-40s when we had them, by the way. I hope that my hands can still hold a steady Weaver stance when they start dating........:D

congratulations to you and the Mrs that's a good looking boy. He's a future knifeknut for sure. later, ahgar
a tip from a veteran parent, if you can get some sleep DO IT!!!!!
