well i'm back from fishing for a few days, caught a big steelhead and some lil ones. i saw four deer, a mountain goat and several bottles of booze go down. i'll post some pcis as soon as i get out of detox. got to go, they only give me a couple minutes on this aa community computer.

ps: ignore the drunks behind the curtain...

pps: if i get the slightest chance i'm busting out of this joint with my girlfriend and going back again, i hear the run is just now getting good.

Man nice catch, that NMFBM really gives it some scale!

Love the look of that pink meat too! Here I catch mostly stocky rainbows with bland white meat. I get up to PA and out to western MD and catch natives and they look that color and taste so much better.

our steelhead are ocean going rainbows, they hatch in idaho and return to the ocean for a couple of years and feed on shrimp (pink meat). they come back and have babys and return again. salmon are a diff story, unlike tony and porkucci, they die after breeding... bad dealio....
 
Hey Skunk just wondering what river did you fish? Man the steelhead run has been perty bad in my neck of the woods. Ive been going on the weekends fishing the Snake and Columbia trolling and bober fishing and no luck. Have not seen many caught this year.

LOL! That is very true. I was pretty surprised when Skunk slapped on his flying suit and goggles :eek::D I now call him the drunken pilot.

I don't take chances with that kind of thing.... that is why I never risked having kids.:thumbup: :cool:

OH yeah baby!! IM slow and it took me a while (I quess because of that huge rainbow) But now I think I get it!!!
