Well, after a long break due to some family issues, I've returned. Not to mention with a good knife related story.
And that starts with my cat trapped inside a couch. Yes, inside a couch. Somehow, she'd managed to get back up inside the back rest portion of it. I'd love to know how as my arm wouldn't fit to pull her back out. Amid getting fussed at to free the cat without hurting it (easier said than done), I pull out my knife, in this case an Emerson Mini Commander and cut a slit in the fabric back. Of course, no where near the actual cat. I got slapped upside the head and cussed at for damaging the couch, but I didn't really see any other option. Thankfully, the cat is unharmed. And now I have just one more reason to keep a knife on me at all times.
