I was at a local get together chop in competition today and was having a blast. first things first. I won the competition. I used a scrapyard 13-11 it was a freaking blast. anyways I was hanging with a old school hog resin guy and he showed me a awesome old school swamp rat Ratweiler I believe. it was way sexier though. He said yeah I bought that from JK back in the day. It was very sexy.

I do remember that one, I did it back when I was still working, and had access to a surface grinder to clean up the flats, and a glass bead machine to satin finish it. I actually went in early on a Thanksgiving morning, when the shop was closed (I had a key) to do it.

Grats on winning the chop off!
Did ya strip the 1311?
I've been meaning to deep etch the logo & my JYD# on mine, then strip it nekid.;)

Very cool!!

I have a Busse Badger Attack Ergo that John did a regrind on, and recontoured the butt, then I sent it in to Busse for new hollow rivets - it's a great knife!

best
