I have read threads where collectors have asked for the return of some of their favourite blades that have been discontinued but I am in the dark about those knives which have actually been returned to production due to popular demand.

Now what are those knives that have been returned to production?

The Pinnacle was a great concept but not the knife it could have been. I saw many problems with them. I think this role has been superbly filled by the Blackwood Skirmish.
I suspect they will introduce a smaller one for the more delicate knife folks.
I think the Skirmish blows the Pinacle out of the water in every respect.

Golok, a couple squawks on the Knife forums does not equal popular demand. WHat us knife geeks want does not translate to what the market will support. For example the general love for the Becker Magnum camp and disdain for serrations around here, versus the preference of the market for serrations and neglect of the magnum camp. A knife company could go broke following our excellent advice.

Spyderco has done sprint runs of a few old favorites, and they do variants of their classics, like the new blue Native.

Spyderco does alot of this. They just did sprint runs of discontinued knives. Spur, Goddard, and Calypso Jr.

Like Esav said they do material change sprints from time to time too. Whether it be handle material, different steel, Etc.

I know Benchmade does a lot of this too, but I couldn't tell you the models.
