Thanks for sharing the pics, nice to see!

What size is that tarp you're using? It just looks like a good size for sleeping under.

Well done, sir..... all our white stuff is melting away.... sniff, sniff.....

Great pics - thanks for sharing. Looks like you guys had a blast. How warm did you stay under the tarp?

great job, nice pics, great to see somebody other than me is a fan of a regular tarp!!!!!!:thumbup:

Good times.

Is there a pad/roll under the spruce bows? I'm going to be out in very similar stuff this weekend so just thinking about improving my insulation.

Thanks for the kind words guys....I was up in Harriman state park....THere is still about 3 ft of snow n the ground in certain areas...
THe tarp is 8x10
We each used a therma rest of one kind or aother on top of the spruce boughs (but minewasa 3 season)
this was my first time attempting a bough bed.. I did not thatcht them properly but just through them down,, But they di help, and left the shelter smelling awesome...

Very nice photos. You should post those action pics of your Becker or link to it in the Becker Knife & Tool forum. They'll get a kick out of that!

Looks like a great night out. Did you maintain the fire through the night or did you have some cold weather sleeping bags?

Thanks for posting the pics.
