This Ultra Lite Bushcraft had a badly damaged blade. I sent it back to BR and today it came back good as new. You can't beat that kind of service. It took about a week total.

Very handy little knife, not really a heavy duty BC but a darn good little back-up.

how did the blade get damaged Jim?
My stupid cat tripped me a few months ago and my first gen mint northstar shot out of the sheath on tile. Never been used and now missing 1/8 of the tip.
Might as well retip and use it now but it sucks, hard to get the tip perfect.

Two things.

1 - Theres more than one way to skin a cat. A Northstar will work fine.:p:D

2 - Retip it. Using is what it was made for. I have two BRKT First Production Run knives. They're users through and through.

Did the cat survive? After what happened to the knife... hmmm...cat or knife. ...tough call.

Bark river looks great, Jim.

I've always liked to look of that little bugger... Hows it feel? Is it a full-sized handle or scaled down?

at the time it was my fiancee's cat, now were married and he is all mine.............

I just wanted one brkt mint, I have a sweet rogue that has seen some dirt and a kephart and micro canadian that are users.

did not notice the orange micarta before, sweet little knife.

It is scaled down a little but I have big hands and it feels pretty good in my hand. Not sure how it was damaged, I bought it that way a while back. The edge was actually bent a little bit, a slight ripple. They said is was reground and re sharpened. Darn good job. If spring ever gets here, I will get some good in use shots. Snow is to darn deep now.
