The flight, America West 66, took an hour and five minutes to get from Reno to Las Vegas. We had to wait one hour and forty minutes to get the cab to take us from the airport to the Hilton -- and that is basically the story. People and lines everywhere for everything. I can't stand that place anymore.

Upside, Travis got married off okay, but typical rush style Las Vegas wedding chapel affair. To give you an idea of what it's like, the wedding license office down at the courthouse is open 24 hours per day and there's a line at 3AM -- mass production and very big buisiness.

About 25 family and good friends in attendance. Good visit. Reception will be in Girard, KS June 8 and since Travis is my only nephew, only child and son of my only brother, I've got to be there, too. 300 people scheduled so if you're nearby may as well drop in.

How long would it have taken to drive to Vegas?

Glad Travis is happy, and loves his Uncle.

Well, I was looking forward to visting Vegas in June. Now, I'm not so sure.........:( I hate long lines.

two of my three sisters were married in Las Vegas and at the time that each was married they lived in Pennsylvania. And they were not spur of the moment.

Everyone thinking of coming to Vegas, remeber Bill picked about the busiest weekend of the year to come on down.

I agree that I like Reno small town atmosphere, but damn I hate that white stuff that falls from the heavens.
