Back from Sweden with lots of stuff

Hey everyone, i just returned from a month of touring Sweden with my girlfriend and family. While there i saw alot and had the time of my life. I attended the Scandinavian Knife Makiing Championship and let me tell you, it was awsome. It was held up North in a town called Ludvika. While there i bought my first custom knife. In Sweden i also bought lots of Moras and a Gransfors Bruks axe. I got lots of pics for you all. O and a surprise i got from a neighbor over there was a custom blade and a chunck of bog cured oak. I carved a temp. handle out of birch firewood for the blade. Heres the pics

Excellent score!

I like everything in that bundle - especially the scandi-ground stuff

But I'm particularly interested in that bog oak. What does the future hold for it? Is it going to become a handle for that blade? If so, I can't wait to see it.

To answer some questions. The bog oak is eventually going to become a handle for the blade i recieved as a gift. But thats way down the road since im just begining to make knives and dont feel comfortable hacking away at the awsome piece of wood. I forgot who the maker of the custom was but ill look through my things and try and find something. And yes the green handled one is a Hultafors. Its a knock off of Mora and there made close to where we were living so i got one. Ill be adding pics in this area of my trip soon. Thanks for looking and i enjoy the interest
