Well, I'm back from the Rendevous. A week of chopping brush for campsites and chopping wood for the cook fires. The AK performed wonderfully as usual. I wore it regularly and with it's traditional sheath it fit in quite well with the 18th century apparel. The karda makes a great patch knife for shooting black powder weapons! Bill, do you have any kardas lying around? I could use one or two extras to attatch to my hunting bag. I had quite a few comments from various people on the blade. It is truely an attention getter!

What is the process for ordering the village kuhkuris? Is is entirely pot luck or do we send you a check for a blade of the same general size that we want and you wait until one comes in that fits the bill? (no pun intended!)
One of these seems like t would be perfect for my "tactical sirupati" idea.

Hi Mike:

Glad to hear the AK worked well and that you discovered a new use for the karda. I do have a few extras laying around and if I can locate your mailing address I'll send you a couple today.

Let's wait until the village khukuris get here and give me a chance to look them over. Then we'll figure out how to get rid of them.

Uncle Bill

Sounds like a plan! Let me know how much I will owe you. Thanks Uncle Bill.
