Just rolled back in from the Sugar Bowl trip.

Things I learned in New Orleans:

- Those Virginia Tech people are all in all a classy bunch of folks. :)

- A 58 year old fart can still haved a lot of fun wandering around the French
Quarter, especially when it is full of Auburn and Va Tech co-eds. ;)

- For some reason those co-eds all want to call me, "sir." :(

- Never let your son make the lodging arrangements, especially on a "Cheap
Hotels" web site. :grumpy:

- Sometimes, you just have to let your low fat diet go for a while. :p

- If you want to discreetly take your Battle Mistress E into the Superdome,
I believe that you could do it. Security is just for appearances, they
aren't serious about it.

- Auburn is the best college football team in the country. Since the BCS is
based on biased opinions anyway, that is my biased opinion and it is just
as good as anyone elses. :D

I always go for seafood. Hit Mike Anderson's and a couple of little places I can't name.

I was also accompanied by my son, who is always on the go and to whom eating is just a necessary nuisance, to be taken care of as quickly and simply as possible. Hard to drag him into good places with crowds. Two bignets at 11:00 am will hold him all day.
