back from the neurologist....what fun

So I joined the forum not to long ago...got my tglb and went back to work....well I only work my main job 1-3weeks at a time give or take...so I was putting my tglb to use and making the other guys jealous and then about a week ago I took a head injury and a pretty nasty 1 too.....so I ended up with memory problems and nerve damage,vision probe,migraines....ect.....anyhow so I get told today I'm basically out of work......(so my other post about the dagger is void) so y'all probably see a little more of me around here.
 
Sorry to hear about that Bro. Take care of yourself, and give yourself time to heal. Hope you feel better soon.

Brother, that is a hard pill to swallow!!! 1st of take care of yourself period. I had to learn the hard way on that one. I hope all turns out OK and you make a full recovery. Also remember this, one Doc might tell you one thing and another tell you something else all together. I really like the cancer commerical on TV when the woman said when she ask her Doc how long she had, the Doc replyed, "I don't see an expiration date stamped in the bottom of your foot." I think about that often and certainly everytime I have to have a C-Scan. I don't have an expiration date and don't tell me I do. I'm still this side of dirt and breathing. Bro keep putting one foot in front of the other, FIGHT the good fight and don't take no for an answer!!! Prayers and smoke sent Brother...
 
Feel better. I've had a concussion last out to about a month and although your injury is not specified I empathize a lot. Human body is an amazing healing machine, you may be back to normal before you know it.

I have an appointment with my neurologist on Monday for my seizures. I feel your pain brother!

Man that's a bit crappy! Maybe you can look at the positive side - you can now be self employed. You don't answer to anyone and you dictate how much you earn. :)

I know how you feel about migraines. I get them all the time too. Nasty nasty.

I am so sorry to hear that . . . I hope your spirits lift and everything starts to get better for you. We will pray for you.
 
I hope your neurologist is better than mine. He said, "I wish there was an answer to everything." when I asked him why I'm having seizures and when I can get a restricted driver license so I can make it to my medical appointments.
