Back from the woods.

Well I have returned from my short camping trip.
My apologies the camera on my phone crapped out, so no pics at the moment. My dad took some pics(No good action ones :thumbdn I will add them as soon as he sends them. With that out of the way, The BK4 was amazing! Totally surpassed my expectations. First thing I heard when I got to camp when my dad saw it was "You planning on fighting a Dinosaur?"! The BK4 was definitely the center piece of this outing. I don't think it got much of a break, some one was always using it. Trail blazing through foliage, processing wood like a machine! Not once did I have to touch up the blade... I could see the "Blade envy" in my dad & brothers eyes!

Well I've gushed enough. I guess the point of all this BS is, if you are thinking about getting a BK4...DO IT!

One quick question I've been meaning to ask, What kind of lanyard "setup" do you guys use on your Beckers?

Glad to hear the Machax performed like a champ!
I've processed quite a bit of wood with mine too and it's still sharp.
As far as the lanyard goes, I just put an adjustable slider on some paracord.
Gets it as tight or as loose as you want it.:thumbup:

Sounds awesome. I've been trying to decide weather to get one or wait for the BK1. Looking forward to the pics.

very cool that you and your whole family enjoyed using the 4 sounds like you guys had some fun. i opted to go with the 9 over the 4 (for now) but it is on the list. thanks for the thread and welcome to the forum!
