Back From Vacation

Here's a bit of knife content from my vacation in the Adirondack Mountains.

We took our daughter to the W!ld Center last week. They had a huge model swiss army knife!!

The W!ld Center also has an fungus exhibit showing some crazy stuff for stropping knives?

My daughter and I picked up some camping style temporary tattoos at Hoss's Country Corner. Of course I nabbed the scout knife tattoo.

This pretty much sums how I spent my days. The Camillus C4, with excellent cap lifter, was the only knife I used for all ten days. The C4 performed quite admirably.

That look of stainless steel contentedness.

Oh yes. 3 jack perch and a walleye. My daughter, who is turning into quite a fisherman, caught the largest of the perch. I threw back all the smallmouth and largemouth bass, so I can catch them again.

Went hiking up the mountain with some friends this May. 14 miles round trip, 3000 foot ascent. When we began our descent, one of the Chinese tourists who took the elevator up asked in Mandarin (translated by my friend) "Why are they going down the wrong side of the mountain?"

Buzz, hope you had as great a time as we did (Looks like you did judging by the photos).
