I dropped off some knives yesterday at the Buck Factory for warrenty service. this morning at 8:30 I received a call from Buck that they were finished, less than 24 hour turn around. I took in a couple 2 dot 112's and a 560. Here are some before pics:

I did'nt have a before pic of my old standby favorite 112 (middle knife), but it was in pretty good used shape. The bottom 112 was in pretty sad shape and the blade was toast on the 560. They all came out looking wonderfull and I'm very happy. While I was there I picked up a discontinued Gen 5 at the factory store for 49.84 inlcuding tax:

All in all another nice visit to Buck Knives.

Looks like they did another fine job on the spa treatment! I have a few I have to send in as well, sounds like a good time to do it.

you have any comparison shots of that Gen5?

Nice!!!

Interesting that they put a new blade in your 560. May have been easier than cleaning up the old one. Keep an eye on the 560 if you are going to use it.

Where is the buck factory store? Are there more then one? Thx guys

I requested a blade change on the 560. The old blade had about 1/4" of the tip snapped off in Iraq in 2009. One of the soldiers in our unit's maintenance section tried to fix it and really ground up the blade.

You can't get any faster service than that...
Looks like they did a great job on them. Gotta love them old 112's...

Love the spa. If I lived near it I'd be there all the time. Heck, I'm happy to get mine there and back in a month, and thats about normal. They turned out great Colt, congrats.

Colt, Thats good service and turn around time . Then they look good as well . DM
