Picked up a couple "grains" of salt to take with some of the stories that get told around here. $3.50 each for two 50 pounders ( for cattle licks ). Never any of my stories, of course. I always tell the exact truth. I just tell it in an unbelievable fashion.
Better go get them out of the truck bed before the rain gets 'em.
Done. One goes to a friend in middle management at ( mind went blank - not sure if it's Bally's or another slot machine mfgr.* ) somewhere or other. For his office for listening to his employees reasons for missing work on Monday mornings. Or needing time off to bury their fifth grandparent.
Other is now on my front porch. To hold the screen door open, or to run off the door to door "Christian witnesses" who don't know the basics of theology ( such as the 3 different greek words for the tenses of Salvation ), and house siding salesmen, etc.
