I figured out that its been almost a year since I made a knife. Danged if time don't fly! Well here's one I had laying on the bench, partially-done.

Specs:

3.5" blade, 7.5" OAL
ATS-34 Blade, HT courtesy of Roger Linger. 59RC, cryoed.
Sambar Stag handle
303 stainless furniture.
silver-soldered guard

The harsh shop lights really don't do this justice. I'll need to get a diffuser, or else just pay Coop for good pics.

Here's the filework. Just some lazy-esses...

Another bad photo, but here's the goody. Native Americans used the bear paw to symbolize power and direction. I thought it would look good on the pommel.

Feels like I just got laid after a l-o-o-o-o-n-g celibacy. Good to be back!

Someone in here was asking about the convex edge (cannell) and I just wanted to point out that this had the cannell edge on it. Sharp bugger... I was smearing some wax on the blade, and sliced the first layer of skin right off my left index finger without even realizing it. All I felt was a slight drag, and then saw a sliver of skin on the blade.

Just so happens I got me a nice chunk-o-chain damascus... any ideas? I was actually thinking a small stilletto, or maybe a boot knife with it. Maybe I'll make a couple folders with that piece.
