I just wanted to post somewhere how frickin great it was to get back into my Modern Arnis class last thursday.
I'd been away with work, (didn't have time) for almost three to four months, finally last week I made it a priority, came straggling into class, after the day from hell, went up to my instructor and said " look man I don't have the money to pay for this session right now, but I've had a ****** week and I miss the hell out of this, can I just hang out and swing some sticks?" He smiled and welcomed me back told me not to sweat the money and hurry up and change.
It was like new life had been breathed into my lungs, all of my stress melted away and for the first time in almost a month I felt truly happy. I don't know if it's the same for any of you but, some how I just wanted to say thank you to the FMA in general and say
I'M BAAACCCKK!!!
