Got laid off at Dell after 9 years (anybody in Austin need a good Project Manager?), the Harley broke down, and the akita accidentally knocked me into the corner of the truck, resulting in torn rib cartilage. All in the same week! Needless to say, the last couple of weeks have been a major improvement on that one! Great to be back on line. How have things been going around here?

Sounds as if you've had a run of it.
And I hope you find employment quickly if that's what you want. I always enjoyed a brief respite from work when I found myslf in the same straits and usually tried to take at least a week off between jobs.
Really good Automatic Screw Machine operators, setup people and mechanics are very far and few between and the job market is always in demand and that's why I usually had a job the same day I either quit or was layed off from an existing job.
I enjoyed those days, But I'm enjoying retirement Far Better!!!
