I'm curious about readers experience. Whenever I see something I'd buy but is out of stock I invariably see a request for my address being advised I'll be notified when it is back in stock. Has your collective experience been you get that notice at a later date?

i usually see a put your email down and get notification.....not address.
some dealers yes really good like dlttrading as an example, some not so great at it. depends on knife though and if it will be back in stock.....

I've picked up a few knives through email drop notifications.
Got a Spyderco Shaman M4 from BladeHQ notifications. A Spartan Harsey from Knife Center notification. And every TRM that I've had, I think 5 at this point, were from email notifications reminding me a drop was coming at X o'clock...
