Ill have to say that some good outdoors fun sure makes the day. Yesterday I went to work at 6am and we ran 7 miles which I wasnt in the mood for. It sucked. Nothing going on at the range so I decided to take the wife and step son hiking. We drove up to FDR State park and hiked a part of the Pine Mtn Trail. Had alot of fun. Seen some cool bugs and some crazy trees. Some of them looked like a ready made shelter frame. Also logged my 1st GA state park geocache. My step son carried his Breeden PSK, wife had her pink Benchmade. And for myself I only carried my new JK Knives PSK. (BACK POCKET) Afterwards I felt great and was happy.

Awesome. That tree growing through the other one looks bizarre, I love finding stuff like that

caine, what's your geocache.com username?

Beautiful hike, brother, looks like a good time was had by all. Sweet steel to, all three. Moose

wow it looks great out there. you could make some pretty quick long term shelters there it looked like :)

Are you going for the coin? I don't know if it is their original idea, but that whole geocaching program in GA is brilliant. For those of you that don't know about it, they offer rewards as you get geocaches in the state parks. If you get all of them, I think you get a special coin or something. I have a lot of customers that get outside just because of that program, which is awesome.

Nice pics Caine, this has got to be the best time of the year to get outside. My buddy at work has got me interested in the Geocache sport. He has been doing this about 6 years now & even did some down in Jamica & Reno last year on vacation. Wife & I finally got our GPS's and a beginner's book he loaned to me, haven't had a chance to get out yet because of some medical issues. From some of the stories he he has told of what he has went thru to find some of those cache's, this is going to prove to be very interesting . . .

Awesome hike bro, glad to see you got out for a while. The two trees grown together is cool, I always like running across things like that. Great shots of that grub too!
