All the wonderful Bose pictures we have seen recently got me a-hankerin'.
It is getting somewhat less likely that I will make it to Blade, and raffles
are iffy at best. There are, however, a number of good purveyors out there, and when I saw this beauty, she just called out my name.

It is a Reese Bose Back Pocket Knife, with a 3 3/16" CPM 440V blade,
and polished stag handles. (I don't think that I have ever seen polished stag before, but the pic looks great.) The engraving is by Joe Mason.

Unfortunately, I won't get the knife till summer, when someone can bring it oversease. I am not gonna trust this one to the mail.

The picture was lifted from the purveyor's website (I asked first)--and was taken by Coop- you can't do better.

Beautiful knife.

I feel your pain. It's a bit like knowing that you are getting the knife you wanted for Christmas but not getting to open it. Only a hundred times worse.

So are you going to carry and use this wonderful tool, or will it be admired only as art?

I saw that for sale on the site. The engraving and smooth stag really work well together on that knife. Congrats on a great score!

That is a BEAUTIFUL knife!! I don't think I have ever seen polished stag handles either! Congrats on the great score.

Shaldag, you dog :D.

As far as Blade, if you want to contact some makers and it is OK with them I will be glad to sign up for you and handle the transaction should you win.

I've eyeballing that one myself. My bank account thanks you for buying it!;)

That is an absolutely stunning knife! That's one that definitely appeals to me. Naturally, I'd pocket it, but most likely pouch it in soft leather first.

Congratulations on a very sweet knife. Waiting is going to be total agony, but I am sure well worth the wait.

I doubt that I'll be able to resist carrying it. My limited experience with Bose knives is that they are made to be users. Of course, if I do, it will be in a leather slip case--in a separate pocket. I certainly don't want that knife banging around with keys and change. Ahhh, cargo pants---making life easier for knife knuts.

And Gus, as always, thanks for the kind offer.

Ahh, so you are the one! I was wondering who scored that beauty. I was considering that one myself but it just wasn't in the cards (ie: I'm broke). That is a stunning knife, congrats.
