Mind if I ask how long delivery took? I have a back sheath from SSS for a Laredo bowie - suberb workmanship and retention but it took something like nine months to get it and communication during the wait was almost non-existent. I never did recieve an explanation as to why it took so long. This was a couple of years ago when there were many, many complaints on the forums about the same problem. I'm wondering if this is still the case or if timely delivery is now being made. I'd like to get some more sheaths but not if it's going to take forever again.

Yup, it took about 5 months to get my sheath. However communication wasn't so much of an issue. He answered almost all of my emails within 24 hours. It was worth the wait in my opinion. Who else offers the variety and craftsmanship that SSS does without having to send your blade away? I looked around and didn't really find too much (not that I'm the best at searching), if you guys know any other sheath makers I would be interested to see their work, I have other knives that need homes.
