hi all i is back, arrived back home from tasmania yesterday.
bad news was waitin, isant it always the way.
my dad has terminal pancreatic cancer, only 12 weeks left to himm.maybee a bit more if we are lucky.

WELL NOW THE TRIP
i spent all our savings while we were there, but got the cabin completed, all lined with t+g pine boards, with sleeping loft, kitchen+dine and lounge area.cabin is 4metres x 6.2 m.
it was back breaking but i had my 21 yr old son to do most of the bad stuff.the khuks we took with us came in very handy and stood up to everything we could throw at them.chopping tree limbs, trimming timber, cutting fencing wire.rope ect.cleared a large blackberry clump. the yvsa special had 3inches clanged of the front end.
i hit a rock with it and it shattered.out with the dremel again, and now its lost all the hard part at the front.
it must have been wrongly rempered as it was very hard and brittle.
but i still wont part with it i still luvs the ornery thing.
IT NOW LOOKS LIKE PENDENTIVES BULLY VILLAGER,
it was great there the creek is flowing, the birds calling.wallabies and possums coming down to drink,i was resting on the creek bank for hours, wathin some brook trout swimmin in the shallows.didant want to go home again, but until we raise the cash to build a house on the other 17 acres we will have to stay in south aus.
IF ANYONE KNOWS SOMEONE OUT THERE WHO WANTS 20 ACRES OF PARADISE WITH POWERED CABIN,CREEK ORCHARD,IN A SECLUDED LITTLE VALLEY IN TASMANIA CONTACT ME.ITS CHEAP.
we will be selling that and keeping the other 17acres to build our home on.
I'LL tell a bit more about our trip later on,my sons encounter with a tassie devil ect. regards ken
