I've had the knife bug for years - especially for Spyderco :) That being said, I've been edc'ing a silver sebbie 21 from TNK for about a year. A few weeks ago there was a sale on delicas which I couldn't resist.
I picked up a black, flat grind delica in vg10 with no real need for it. And it hasn't left my pocket since. Light, very very sharp, sturdy, carries small with enough blade to tackle most day to day tasks. Inexpensive enough that losing it would be sad but not a terrible loss - legal length for most places etc. Its beating out ~50 other folders in my collection.

Sometimes you have to go back to a classic to understand what made it so in the first place. The funny thing about Spyderco is between the delica and endura you'd have all the folding knife you'd ever need. I wonder if its a challenge for Spyderco that they hit perfection for daily use years ago :)

+1 to all of the above
EDC a Delica daily for work, and a workhorse it is!

I should probably get an Endura. Been hearing a lot of good things about it, and if I lose or destroy it I won't be out $200.

Perfection is a moving target. Time moves on. You can't step in the same river twice.

I love the Delica. For sure one of the best Spyderco knives. I have one in my backpack all the time.

Its the only model of knife , of any make that I own more than one of , at the moment I have three and that will turn into four when I get my hands on the HAP40 one coming out soon .

Have sung the praises of the Delica constantly. It's the single knife that made me take a step back and look at my collection asking myself "why do I need these"? Myself and others have had the Delica kick a Seb out of our pockets on more than one occasion.

Agreed. Bought ~35 Spyderco knives since December, including most all the latest and greatest, then FINALLY purchased my first Endura and Delica.......I'd never even held either, before.

Sold *most* of those knives, kept a few, including the orange Delica, as I've found it to be one of my favorite blades of all time.....from its light weight, overall feel, ergos, etc.

Purchased four Sebenzas in the last couple of weeks, and do carry one or two, daily, but my little orange Delica ALWAYS rides, sans pocket clip, in the bottom of my pocket, and is my go-to daily user. If something needs to be cut, I'd rather grab my Delica than anything else, almost every time.

I've had many Delicas in the past couple of years and has been the longest tenured knife I've owned. Unfortunately being a knife nut you think there are others out there that are better, but time and time again, I re-purchase that good ol' plain black handled Delica bc why? Its just so damn hard to beat. It has everything you need in a knife and nothing you don't.

That says a lot but, not really. I mean I love the Sebenza but give me a Delica any day. I know.

I love the Delica. It is my most carried and used knife. (I wish it had a stop pin, but I am okay without it). It is light, inexpensive, and fits my hand like no other. I love them.
