I have been without a CRK in my pocket for almost a year now. In that time, I have had Hinderers, Striders, and various other manufacturers’ knives in my pocket. Truthfully, they were all great knives, but I found myself once again longing for that CRK feel. It is hard for me to put into words, but you guys and gals that own CRKs know what I am talking about; the tight tolerances, the ease of maintenance, and the great action just to name a few.

So, with that said I knew right away which CRK I wanted to own again. With its minimalist construction and beautifully milled titanium scales, I had to have another Umnumzaan.

Here is my new Umnumzaan that is not even a two-month-old (2/4/15):

With the rest of my edc:

Anyone else recently come back to CRK?

If so, which CRK did you choose?

I did, after a similar hiatus filled with the likes of Emerson and Medford, by adopting this darling small micarta sebbie:

^^It's an Alox Cadet

That's a nice find OM! I have always liked the micarta inlays and how they tend to darken over time.

I did the exact same thing. Sold all my Hinderers and Striders for more CRK. Just can't get enough! Now I have a small Tanto on the way

Congrats on the Zaan! I've been a little bit of the opposite. It took me a while before I actually started carrying my CRKs. I have finally started and will probably always regularly carry one...
